Ivor Benjamin has been a member of the Directors Guild since its inception in 1983, a Council member for over 10 years and Chair since 2005. He is a freelance theatre director and writer, specialising in devising and developing original work, teaching and lecturing. His adaptation of the Japanese murder mystery “Rashomon” has been performed in Ireland, the Philippines and the USA but still awaits a professional UK premiere. He is also a qualified systems analyst and IT specialist, with articles for “Wired” and sundry learned journals.
